Buddy Gumina is a Partner and Head of US Healthcare at Apax Partners where he focuses on investments in healthcare services, products, pharma and healthcare IT. Prior to joining Apax Partners, Mr. Gumina was a Partner at Saunders Karp & Megrue, where he specialized in investments in healthcare and business services. Before joining Saunders Karp & Megrue, Mr. Gumina was an Associate at DLJ Merchant Banking Partners where he focused on healthcare services as well as the industrial and engineered chemical sectors. He received a B.A. in Political Science from Yale University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
