Ali Namvar

Since joining Pershing Square in January 2006, Mr. Namvar has worked on investments in the restaurant, retail, real estate and food industries. Prior to working at Pershing Square, Mr. Namvar worked in the mergers and acquisitions department of the Blackstone Group and the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs. Before pursuing a career in investing and finance, Mr. Namvar was a songwriter and music producer. He graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. from Columbia University and received an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
