

Gregory Segall has over twenty years of experience investing in and executing turnarounds, restructurings, reorgan-izations and other ‘special situations’ involving businesses across a wide variety of industries, geographies and circumstances.
He has served on numerous boards and is currently Chairman and a Director of Polartec; Plymouth Rubber; Republic Storage Systems; Simplexity; Holliston; Black Angus Steakhouses; Bob’s Stores; and Allen-Vanguard Corporation; and he is a Director and Chairman of the Executive Committee of Central Parking Corporation.
Prior to forming Versa Capital and its predecessor Chrysalis Capital Partners, Mr. Segall was the Founder and Managing Director of Chrysalis Management Group, a nationally recognized restructuring advisory firm, and previously he was a Managing Director with Sigoloff & Associates, Inc., a leading crisis management consulting firm.
A former Governor of the State Bar of California by legislative appointment, Mr. Segall received his MBA from Pepperdine University, and frequently serves as a guest commentator on CNBC and Bloomberg TV, and as a panelist and lecturer for numerous universities and professional organizations on a variety of topics including corporate restructurings, distressed investing and other economic, business and financial issues.
He is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), various industry and professional associations, and he serves as Trustee and past President of the Children’s Crisis Treatment Center, for which service he received the 2003 ‘Turnaround of the Year (Pro Bono) Award’ from the Turnaround Management Association.
