Donna Smolens

Donna Smolens is a Managing Director of Portfolio Advisors and serves as a voting member on the Investment Committee for several Portfolio Advisors funds. Donna has been with Portfolio Advisors since 2003 and is primarily engaged in primary fund due diligence. Previously, she was a General Partner with Technology Crossover Ventures where she handled investor relations. Prior to that, Donna was a Senior Vice President at DLJ Securities’ Private Fund Group, where she was responsible for the origination, screening and due diligence on funds marketed by the firm. Prior to DLJ, she was a Portfolio Manager with General Motors Investment Management and an Investment Vice President at New York Life, where she managed private equity portfolios. Donna has served or is serving as an Advisory Board member of thirteen private equity partnerships. Donna received her BA and MA from Fordham University.
